International Entrepreneurs' Night meets citizen mobility

During this event, the International Entrepreneurs’ Night and the final event of our project "Besser Umsteigen" converge. Together, we create a platform for innovative start-ups, experts, and partners to exchange ideas and foster valuable connections within global start-up networks.

Collaboration across various disciplines and geographical boundaries was pivotal in the latest co-innovation project led by Digital Hub Mobility from UnternehmerTUM. In collaboration with the city of Munich, Stadtwerke München/MVG, BMW Group, Autobahn GmbH, Park und Ride GmbH, and Designit, our focus remained on the citizens, with start-ups also playing a crucial role. For the first time, we welcomed an international start-up, Nudgd from Sweden, and together with the German founders of Lynes, we initiated the "Besser Umsteigen" Challenge.

We aim to present the findings from our urban experiment, which aimed to enhance the efficiency and comfort of commuting in the Munich metropolitan region. Our objective was to disrupt established mobility patterns and promote and reward intermodal commuter behavior.
