The Female Founders Talent Journey is a one-year pilot project organised by Women Start-up together with the Karl Schlecht Foundation.
Our aim is to inspire more women to set up businesses in technology-oriented fields and to awaken their interest in technology and science at an early stage. Throughout their educational journey, participants can take advantage of numerous programs in the area of entrepreneurial thinking and action and thus lay the first foundations for their start-up.
The Female Founders Talent Journey has a modular structure and is designed for young women interested in technology and entrepreneurship.
What does the Female Founders Talent Journey involve?
Technology workshops in the MakerSpace:
Pupils are able to get active and gather initial experience through practical tasks, e.g. the realisation of prototypes on manufacturing tools. The participants then have access to the MakerSpace and additional machinery courses for another 6 months.
Innovation Sprint:
This intensive on-hands 5-day course offers students from the TU Munich and other universities in Munich the chance to work on solutions for social problems and initial business ideas. The group consists of minimum 50% female participants. Join the waiting list to apply for the next Innovation Sprint in summer 2025!
Female Future Entrepreneurs Track:
At XPLORE Venture Creator, female founders gain during 10 weeks practical experience as part of a start-up, learn how they work and make valuable contacts. The next application round starts in summer 2025. Learn more here!
