Our Mission
With the Learning and Exchange Center, we want to accelerate and professionalize start-up factories and start-up ecosystems.
Challenge: Germany is at the forefront of research but not of commercialisation.
Scientific findings are often not translated into marketable products, which hampers economic growth and innovation. It needs professional support for knowledge-based spin-offs to remain competitive in the future.
Solution: The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection has therefore launched the "Leuchtturmwettbewerb "Start-up Factories".
The aim is to promote university-related start-up centers along the lines of UnternehmerTUM, HPI and CampusFounders. The competition aims to create more start-up factories and increase the number of knowledge-based spin-offs in Germany. With the Learning and Exchange Center, we want to support start-up factories in this.

Die TU München bringt so viele Start-ups hervor wie keine andere Uni der Republik. Jetzt sollen andere Hochschulen den Erfolg kopieren – mit Geld von Robert Habeck.
