The idea for an AI-based service hotline arose from the founders’ negative experiences with long waiting times in hotline phone loops. To improve this kind of service, they developed a system that uses practical applications of deep learning and AI. The self-learning system independently analyzes incoming messages, forwards them to the right department and suggests smart responses to the respective teams during their operational business activities.
In 2018, the three founders made it onto the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. The company was recently able to acquire a further €5.5 million euros and was nominated as the British start-up of the year by L Marks, a start-up and tech investment fund from London. Over 40 people now work for e-bot7, with teams based in Munich, Paris and London.
How has e-bot7 benefited from UnternehmerTUM?
Thanks to the TechFounders accelerator program offered by UnternehmerTUM, e-bot7 received coaching and was able to develop their business model and establish promising contacts with important industry players. The pilot projects carried out with two collaborating companies proved particularly valuable: One of them has grown into a long-term e-bot7 client.
